Saving Seeds

I recently had the lovely experience of leading one of Brooklyn's SEASONS after school sessions for her. Since it was a pretty rainy day, the students and I worked on some seed saving. They shelled dried beans that had been grown by fellow students. We then cut out seed packet envelopes from an old beautiful calendar, filled them with beans, and labeled them.
