We've had the first half of the year to get the classes in the groove of what they'll be learning and for new members like myself to get to know the students and the school. I personally am excited to take what I've learned in the first half of the year and apply it to the garden lessons in the second half of the year.
It's time to start seeds indoors; tomatoes, peppers, onions and flowers. Soon enough those little sprouts will be popping up, vying for sun and warmth in the greenhouse.
I hope all has gone well for our little dicon radish sprouts over break. If so, then they will be getting strong and vigorous. This spring the third graders at Creative Science School will plant them out in the gardens.
With Excitement,
~Erin
