Spring harvests

Amid the spring heat wave, the gardens are brining us delicious food.

This week at Roseway Heights we had our first Garden to Cafeteria harvest. Baby kale, curly lettuce, and radishes were collected by Mr. Vogl's class. 
Other classes helped weed and then had a nice taste-test adventure: pea shoots, kale flowers, chive stem... Most  Everyone left the garden with a satisfied smile on their faces.

Excited to see what this week brings.
